Tim Grundmann
Tim Grundmann

Tim Grundmann began his piano studies in Wiesbaden, Germany and graduated from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He has accompanied ballet class on the piano for thirty years, first with the Washington School of Ballet and now as a freelance accompanist in New York City. Tim is also an author of children's books and writer of children's programs for the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. His stage plays and musicals have been produced in NYC, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Tim has created several recordings for dance classes with David Howard, Gayle Corkery and Danielle Quisenberry on the Bodarc Production label.

In Memoriam
Tim Grundmann

September 7, 1950 - December 10, 2015

On Thursday December 10, 2015, the world lost a wonderfully talented and creative soul. Tim Grundmann not only played for ballet classes for over thirty years, but also created stage plays, musicals, authored childrens' books, and composed music for film and television. From his work with Disney on such shows as the Mickey Mouse Club to accompanying adult classes for David Howard, Tim touched the lives of young and old alike.
