We are saddened to
announce the cofounder and art director of
Bodarc Productions, Clifton
(Sonny) Pine, passed away on March 21, 2023.
He helped start Bodarc Productions in 1979
with the release of the first album called
“Music for Ballet Class by Lynn Stanford”.
From mastering the raw material, designing the
cover, overseeing the production to ad
creation and order fulfillment, he did
everything but play the piano on the first
couple of titles. At the same time, Clifton was completely
consumed with his architectural career
creating many successful buildings in Dallas,
Texas
and points around the state and country. It
was his strong steady hand that helped get the
production company off the ground and keep it
moving forward in a way no one else could. The
success of every title is a testament to his
guidance and support. Without him there surely
would be no Bodarc Productions and the over
one hundred titles that it has created. He
leaves both the dance and architectural worlds
with a legacy beyond compare.
