"Journey to Oz" offers a combination of melodies from the many movies and shows about the Wizard of Oz. David Plumpton has created arrangements of melodies from The Wiz, Wicked, Oz – The Great and Powerful, and of course The Wizard of Oz. What a wealth of music has come from this franchise and how wonderful that David has put it all together so we can dance to them in a ballet class. There are several tracks for Grand Battements, Port de Bras, Pirouettes and eight different tracks for allegro exercises. Each selection is easy to follow and always inspiring. What fun to dance to all these familiar melodies. David has also added one of his own compositions to round out this recording.
